The Tinkerbelle + Hummingbird M.E. Blog is a site where Alison Bell and Hfme creater Jodi Bassett discuss topics relating to life with M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis )
Hi Alison, Great blog!!! Well done for managing to get it up and running like this....I can only imagine the amount of effort it has taken by yourself as the creator and with Jodi as collaborator to produce this. Was an excellent idea to start with adrenaline surges as a subject as they so cloud the issue with all the other symptoms people experience.....leading you into a false sense of 'control' over the disease.....
You asked for ideas for future posts....I am sure you both have plenty of ideas in the pipeline but I would like to see a discussion about diet as I gather that this is a fundamental building block for trying to stabilise this disease and promote any chance of improvement. I realise that this is a huge subject in itself and may need to be broken down further into foods and fluids, juicing...and how to make palatable ones you can actually enjoy (my next dietary based goal!), and other recommendations or worthwhile suggestions/considerations such as the paleo diet/Wahls diet etc. I realise this is so closely linked to vitamin, mineral and herb supplement use in ME, which is a whole other subject...
